By purchasing a ticket or attending an event by Shared Obsessions, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please take a moment to read them.

2. Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to all agreements between Shared Obsessions and participants in its events, as well as to the use of sharedobsessions.com and related subdomains. By using our website or services, you agree to these terms.
Shared Obsessions reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The most current version is available at sharedobsessions.com. Continued participation after an amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
3. Age requirement
Our events are exclusively accessible to persons aged 18 and over, unless explicitly stated otherwise. By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
4. Offer and agreement
An agreement between Shared Obsessions and a participant is concluded at the moment a ticket has been successfully purchased via our ticketing platform (Stager) and the corresponding confirmation email has been received.
Shared Obsessions reserves the right to refuse a registration without stating reasons. This is part of our curation principle: access to our events is deliberately curated.
5. Prices and payment
All ticket prices listed are inclusive of any applicable VAT, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Payment is made in full via the ticketing platform at the time of purchase, in euros.
Shared Obsessions reserves the right to adjust prices at any time. Already purchased tickets will not be recalculated retroactively.
6. Tickets and transfer
Tickets are personal and linked to the person named in the order.
A participant may transfer their ticket to another person up to 48 hours before the start of the event, provided this is communicated in advance in writing via hi@sharedobsessions.com. Shared Obsessions assesses transfer requests at its own discretion.
7. Cancellation by the participant
Tickets are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled or significantly changed by Shared Obsessions in terms of date, location, or content.
If a participant is unable to attend and has not transferred the ticket in time, the ticket price will not be refunded.
8. Cancellation or changes by Shared Obsessions
Shared Obsessions reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or alter events due to circumstances beyond its control, including force majeure, insufficient registrations, or unforeseen venue circumstances.
• In the event of cancellation by Shared Obsessions: full refund of the ticket price
• In the event of rescheduling to a new date: choice between using the ticket on the new date or a full refund
Any additional costs (such as travel or accommodation) will not be reimbursed.
9. Liability
Participation in Shared Obsessions events is at your own risk. Shared Obsessions is not liable for:
• Damage, loss, or injury resulting from participation in events
• Damage to or loss of personal belongings
• Damage arising from the use of the website or third-party services
The liability of Shared Obsessions is in all cases limited to the amount paid by the participant for the relevant ticket, unless intent or gross negligence on the part of Shared Obsessions is established.
10. Code of conduct
Shared Obsessions deliberately creates a safe and respectful environment for all participants. Everyone is expected to treat fellow attendees, hosts, and venue staff with respect.
Discrimination, harassment, boundary-crossing behaviour, or other forms of unacceptable conduct will not be tolerated. Shared Obsessions reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any person who violates this code of conduct, without entitlement to a refund.
11. Photography and video
During events, photo and video material may be captured by or on behalf of Shared Obsessions, for use on social media, the website, and other communication channels of the organisation.
If you object to being included in this material, you can notify us in advance at hi@sharedobsessions.com or inform the host on the day. Shared Obsessions will respect this request.
12. Intellectual property
All content on sharedobsessions.com — including texts, images, formats, names, and concepts — is the property of Shared Obsessions V.O.F. or is used with permission from the rights holder.
None of this content may be reproduced, published, copied, or otherwise used without prior written consent from Shared Obsessions.
13. Privacy
Shared Obsessions processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy at sharedobsessions.com. Data is not sold to or shared with third parties without consent, beyond the parties necessary for our services.
14. Prohibited use
It is not permitted to:
• Collect or use data of other participants for commercial purposes
• Use the website or services of Shared Obsessions for illegal activities
• Use the name, brand, or concepts of Shared Obsessions without permission
• Imitate or copy events or formats of Shared Obsessions
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms and conditions are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Any disputes will first be resolved through mutual consultation. If this is not successful, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Rotterdam.
If you are resident in an EU country, you retain the rights arising from the applicable consumer protection legislation in your country of residence.
16. Severability
If any provision in these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision will be replaced by a valid provision that corresponds as closely as possible to the original intent.
